Massac County Administrative Support Specialist

SUMMARY The Administrative Support Specialist will provide information to callers and visitors, schedule appointments, and maintain and troubleshoot ITV and classroom equipment. The Administrative Support Specialist under the direction of the Center Coordinator will maintain all programs and services provided by the Extension Center.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associate Degree in Administrative Assistant or a related field OR Two (2) years of relevant work experience. SUMMARY The Events Coordinator will support all event needs, provide customer service, and lead in maintaining all audio technology.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Five years of experience in Audio/Visual related fields. SUMMARY The Workforce Training Specialist is responsible for coordinating training programs for businesses, industry, and agencies and serves as the American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center Coordinator throughout the SCC district. This position is responsible for course scheduling, marketing, and resource development. SUMMARY The HCCTP Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, administration, and evaluation of the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Highway Construction Careers Training Program. The Small Business Development Center Coordinator at Shawnee Community College is responsible for the development, planning, organizing, execution, and implementation of all new and existing small business development opportunities.  This position plans activities, training, and events and manages processes that foster small business development within the Shawnee Community College (SCC) district.  This position is also responsible for maintaining previous business partnerships and identifying potential business relationships for the retention and expansion of the center. The Coordinator will pursue economic growth opportunities and business enterprises within the college district. A dedicated concentration on the operational and outreach components of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will be expected.
