Dorothy Sparks has served on the Saints Foundation Board since 2019.  As a retired educator, she contributes to the community by serving on the Board. 

Professionally, Dorothy earned her Bachelors Degree from Southern Illinois University and her Masters Degree from Murray State University.  She taught in Massac County for 34 years.

As a wife, mother, grandmother and Elder in Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America, Dorothy values and treats everyone with respect and kindness.

With her accomplishments and teaching career, Dorothy recommends that everyone watch “Hidden Figures” as it highlights the accomplishments of black Americans.
