Beginning her journey in serving on the Saint Foundation Board, Shannon is looking forward to promoting Shawnee Community College.  Currently, Shannon is employed by the Illinois Department of Human Services in the role of Casework Manager.

Completing her degree as a non-traditional student, Shannon believes it is never too late to further your education.  Not only does she serve as a great role model for her family, but she also encourages others to continue their educational pursuits.

Shannon values time spent with family and friends and lives out her personal interests of photography and music.   Her love of all things Harry Potter, she appreciates and puts into practice, always looking for all of the wonderful and magical things that bring you joy.  Never stop learning, face your fears, and always believe in yourself!
